Parents’ Guide: It’s loud – as in literally clashing of the titans! – and is made exactly for folks who like seeing really big monsters duke it out! There is some off-screen human vs. human violence, which is amplified a smidge by seeing it through the tween character. Also some jump scares, and then the fact that a whole lot of people are probably dying from all of the titan carnage… so we’re recommending your kid be around 9-10 years old to see this flick.

ANOMALY ALERT: This is one of those sequels which is, in our humble opinion, better than the original movie! Thus Godzilla: King of the Monsters joins the ranks of other films such as The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (a sequel though not the immediate second follow-up), and Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.

We really want to see Kong VS. Godzilla now. Long live the King!

P.S.: There IS an end-credit scene, so use your Marvel bladder training and stay until the end. It’s worth it to get to the part of the credits where the list of digital artists lasts for about two minutes.
